Masada & Dead Sea

Masada & Dead Sea

Let us build a tour that allows you to travel from Tel Aviv via the Judean hills to the breathtaking Dead Sea, the lowest place on earth.

A magical journey followed by a scenic drive along the shores of the Dead Sea to Masada, where you will learn the heroic story of the Jewish fighters. You will then ascend by cable car and tour the mountain fortress built by king Herod, where the zealots of the first century made their last stand against the Romans. Visit the remains of the walls, palaces, synagogue, water cisterns, mosaic floors, roman baths and other findings before continuing to the Dead Sea.

Enjoy the unique opportunity to swim and float in the Dead Sea,  which many believe has therapeutic effects.
On the way back, we recommend you visit Qumeran caves, where the dead sea scrolls were found, but to discuss in more detail and book the trip that suits you, contact our Concierge.

Israel Air Tour

Allow us to take care of your excursions and your chance to experience breathtaking Negev views from a private helicopter.

Get picked-up from The Norman and transported to the Herzliya helipad. After take-off you will travel down the Tel Aviv coastline through Yaffo, onwards over the old and new city of Jerusalem, Har Hazeitim, the Judean desert, Dead Sea and Masada. You will then stop in Masada for a 2 and a half hour tour of the ancient palace complex, a UNESCO World Heritage site and symbol of the ancient Kingdom of Israel. The camps, fortifications and attack ramp are the most complete set of Roman siege works that survived to the present day.

Overlooking the Dead Sea and Judean Desert, the views from Masada are simply unbeatable. You will then continue down to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on the face of the earth, for a dip in this natural health spa before enjoying a picnic lunch from The Norman Restaurant and a wonderful flight homeward bound back to Herzliya and then The Norman.
